Director of Education
Adam Kuenzle
Adam has been teaching Kindergarten-12 for public and private schools for the past 15 years.
Adam has a wealth of experience across school curriculums and has taught many students from diverse backgrounds. He has worked with special needs students and ESL (English as a second language)
Adam’s approach is to build confidence in the student’s ability to critically think about a problem and arrive at a solution.
Adam found while teaching in the school system, many students fell through the cracks of the system and their needs were not met due to the immense workload of the teachers.
Adam believes that if students are to achieve their best, the school system by itself is not able to accommodate the diverse learning needs of every student and that’s why he has created Study Smart.

The Study Smart Difference
Our tutoring is personalised to meet the academic needs and goals of students, aiming to bring out the best in them both academically and mentally.
1. STREE-FREE LEARNING
A positive learning environment is crucial for academic success.
Students who feel comfortable are more focused and retain information better.

Our exceptional tutors foster a fun, friendly atmosphere where students can ask questions and learn at their own pace without fear of judgment.
This supportive environment builds a sense of belonging, trust, and confidence, all vital for enhancing academic performance.

2. MINIMAL DISTRACTIONS

Private lessons offer a quiet alternative to noisy classrooms and group tutoring, which often distract students and hinder their progress.

Our tutors maintain a fair but structured approach, ensuring students stay focused and maximise their learning.
Mobile phones and food are not allowed during sessions, and we prefer lessons to occur in a quiet room. If your home isn't suitable, we can arrange tutoring in a local library.

3. TAILORED APPROACH

Every student has a unique learning style.
Some thrive on reading and writing, while others benefit from visual explanations.

We personalise our teaching methods to suit each student's learning preferences, particularly for challenging subjects like Mathematics and Physics.
This tailored approach keeps students engaged and nurtures a love for learning, supporting long-term success.

4. CONFIDENCE BUILDING

Building confidence is central to our lessons, as self-assurance significantly predicts success in school and beyond.

Our experienced tutors equip students with strategies to manage academic stresses such as exams, presentations, and assignments.
Greater confidence allows students to engage more openly with peers and participate actively in classroom discussions, essential for academic achievement.

5. TARGETED LEARNING

With classrooms averaging 20-30 students, teachers often struggle to meet individual learning needs, resulting in incomplete homework and poor exam performance.

Our one-on-one lessons focus entirely on your child's needs.
Our exceptional tutors target specific subjects and areas for improvement, helping students accelerate their learning and get their grades back on track.
High-achieving students receive challenging material that keeps them engaged and motivated to reach new milestones.
